Vanillaware games to get HD versions soon?

If there’s a constant amongst games by Vanillaware, its that they’re unequivocally beautiful, with stunning animation, and fantastic hand drawn art. It comes as no surprise that their 2 best games, Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Odin Sphere, are apparently on their way to PSN as downloadable games, if the fine gents over at 1UP are to be believed (the site doesn’t state PSN or XBLA explicitly, but says that it would be reasonable to assume both, which is why we’re reporting it).
Muramasa launched last year for the Wii, bringing with it fantastic hand drawn visuals, which were, according to 1UP’s source, developed in HD first, making for a port that is certainly going to be easy on the eyes. Odin Sphere was a PS2 game a while back, and should look similarly gorgeous. Keep a keen eye on the site, as these announcements should be happening in the near future.
