Nyko’s Upcoming Peripherals Include Data Bank, Type Pad

Nyko’s next line of PS4-friendly products includes a Data Bank and a DualShock 4 Type Pad.
The PS4 Data Bank replaces the top of the system and acts as a 3.5″ hard drive dock to replace the system’s current 2.5″ drive. 3.5″ hard drives are typically less expensive for their storage sizes and have faster running speeds. An inserted drive would act as internal storage as opposed to external, which can’t support game installs.
The Type Pad features a full-on QWERTY keyboard to snap onto the bottom of your DualShock 4. There’s a mini-analog nub in the upper right-hand corner that allows for quick menu navigation. There’s also a “.com” key, which is cool. The Type Pad will charge along with the controller and is compatible with all Bluetooth keyboard-enabled apps and games.
Would you purchase either of these devices? I’m intrigued by both, but am wondering how the Type Pad would fit on my Nyko Charge Base. Look for more release and pricing info in the coming weeks.
