PlayStation Network Experiencing Connectivity Problems Anew

PlayStation, after just recovering from a big holiday outage is having problems once again. Users are reporting issues connecting to the PSN, and all Sony is telling us at the moment is this,

We’re aware that some players are seeing drops on PSN. Engineers are on the case and investigating.

The PlayStation Network status page shows the service is “Experiencing heavy traffic” at the moment. While this could be an actual heavy load of traffic, with all of the recent outages it’s hard to be hopeful.
