LUFTRAUSERS probably won’t release until Early 2014

Vlambeer put out an update on their upcoming games LUFTRAUSERS, Nuclear Throne, and Ridiculous Fishing today with some specifics regarding the upcoming release of LUFTRAUSERS. Originally announced back in March as coming to the PS3 and the Vita LUFTRAUSERS was set to release Spring 2013. After a bit of waiting it seems the game is very close now and while it’s unlikely to release in 2013 it seems a very early 2014 launch is all but set at this point.

With QA and FQA still ahead of us, we’ve established that 2013 is an unlikely release frame. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but it does mean that unless a miracle happens we don’t think it will launch before early 2014.

Full control over the final steps of finishing the game have been given to Devolver Digital as Vlambeer moves on to Nuclear Throne and Ridiculous Fishing. An exact release date is not known at this time but with QA being the only thing in it’s way we’ll likely hear more news regarding an exact date very soon.
