PS Plus: What’s coming? What’s going?

I felt it important to inform all of you PlayStation Plus subscribers out there of the list of games set to be included in August’s Instant Game Collection on PSN tomorrow. More importantly though is the fact that some games will NO LONGER be free after tomorrow’s store update. What would you do without me?
Before I riff through the list of games coming and going, you need to know that even if you’re not in the mood to play a game offered as part of the Instant Game Collection, you can still add it to your download list anyways and access it at anytime so long as you are a Plus subscriber. But if you wait too long to do so, as will be the case of so many tomorrow evening, those games will no longer be available at the low low price of free. And yes, I do considering them “free” even though I’ve paid for a year of Plus.
WHAT’S COMING?
- (PS3) Hitman: Absolution – FREE when store updates on 8/6
- (PS3/Vita) Zen Pinball 2: Star Wars Pinball (Cross-Buy) – FREE sometime in July
- (PS3) Bit.Trip Presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien – FREE sometime in July
- (PS Vita) Machinarium – FREE sometime in July
- (PSP/Vita compatible) Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower – FREE sometime in July
Note: Some “what’s coming” titles do not have a date at this time.
WHAT’S GOING?
- (PS3) Battlefield 3 – FREE until 8/6 store update
- (PS3) Labyrinth Legends – FREE until 8/13 store update
- (PSP/Vita compatible) Gods Eater Burst – FREE until 8/20 store update
- (PS3) Malicious – FREE until 8/20 store update
- (Vita) Dokuro – FREE until 8/27 store update
Do not hesitate to share this with your closest friends so that they too may reap the rewards of a PS Plus subscription, especially if you gifted them one. They don’t know about this stuff. Which games did you forget to download last month? Which games are you most excited to see added to the Instant Game Collection? Let us know in the comments below.
