PSNStores Weekly Roundup: June 17th – 23th 2013

After the excitement of last week I, like many of you out there, dived into The Last of US and while I have yet to finish it up the game definitely proves that you can’t count the almost 7 year old PS3 out just yet.  In between hiding from clickers and outrunning the military with Joel and Ellie I also played some Draw Slasher, which is proving that killing zombie monkey pirates is quite a bit of fun, and some Flying Hamster HD which has transitioned from minis to Vita beautifully.

In other minis-to-Vita news the release date for Velocity Ultra has been pushed up from July 9th to July 2nd in NA. As a big fan of the original this is one that I have been looking forward to playing for quite a while now. But it looks like I will be impatiently waiting to play a lot of games coming in the next year as Curtis has complied a list of every PSN game currently announced for the PS4. Its hard to believe how many great looking games have already been announced for the system, one of those being Super Motherload by X-Gen Studios who announced this week that a cool sounding companion app for the Vita will be launching along with the game.  E3 showed that there are a lot of reasons to be on your Vita in the upcoming months as Nick got his hands on Real Boxing the Vita’s first boxing game and Chris played a bunch of interesting PSM titles. Here is hoping we all get to play some Treachery in Beatdown City before too long.
