Lone Survivor Coming To PS3 + PSVita This Summer

Although it was announced last november, it would appear that Curve Studios has now officially announced that they are bringing Superflat Games’ Lone Survivor to PS3 and Vita, with the newly announced window of ‘Summer’. Playing as a nameless, masked protagonist in a city full of monsters, your aim is simply to survive. There’s a deep horror element to the game, and a number of elements that have an effect on the outcome of the story itself. You might not always notice them, but they’ll be there. Tugging at your soul, or something equally dramatic and harrowing.

The game will support cross-buy and cross-play, and Jasper Byrne of Superflat has been even working on exclusive content for this new version of the game. He states on his blog that ‘I’ve also been working on (amongst one or two other surprises) more than twenty new items, new dialogue with all NPC’s, two extensive new side quests, two new locations, and a brand new ‘Yellow’ ending, featuring a new piece of music for the ending.’ Sounds like a worthy reason for people who have played the game before to dive back in. Included with the re-announcement was a new trailer, embedded above. The game certainly has style, and if the acclaim it got on the PC is anything to go by, PS3 or Vita owners will be in for a treat this summer.
