New PlayStation Store Patched To Version 1.02

The PlayStation Store has been patched again. This time the update, which brings the Store to verison 1.02, rings in at 26 MB.

I haven’t had the chance to download the patch for myself yet, but some users on Twitter are reporting that the store is now faster to boot and is more stable. The new Store was one of our biggest disappointments of last year, so if this makes it any better at all it is for the good.

Japan will get to join in on the fun for the first time this week. The new Store is set to release on Wednesday. So luckily for them, they haven’t had it quite as bad as us users in North America and Europe. But look on the bright side, North America will be getting the webstore this month!
