Neon Alley will bring streaming dubbed anime to PlayStation 3s across North America on October 2nd. Besides being dubbed in English and uncut, Neon Alley will offer HD streaming on some of its content, something that competitor Crunchy Roll currently does not offer on PS3. You can get a sense of the dub quality in this clip that they recently uploaded.
It also seems that Neon Alley will operate more like a traditional TV station where shows are played at select times. The have a list of pretty big name shows, Naruto, One Piece, Inuyasha, along with some live action films through a partnership with Tai Seng. So if you are a fan of old Kung-fu movies, it might be worth checking out.
Currently the service is subscription based and will cost $6.99 per month. Is this something that you would be willing to pay so that you have a 24/7 anime television channel? Let us know in the comments.
