Walking Dead Episode 3 To Arrive Mid-August

In a post on their company blog, Telltale games, whilst thanking their fans for their patience, took the time to affix a release date to Episode 3 of The Walking Dead. Telltale’s episodic release schedules sometimes draw ire from the community for their inconsistent release dates, so in explicitly stating a release window in advance it would appear that the company is attempting to put their fans at ease. Whilst the rest of the blog post is thanks and promises of more communication regarding release dates, the paragraph in which Episode 3’s release window is expanded reads as follows;

For many of you, the most important thing is to let you know when the next episode (Episode 3: Long Road Ahead) will be available, and although we can’t give you an exact date at this time, we can say that episode three will be ready in the middle of August, and that we and our partners will do all that we can to release all platforms and regions as close together as possible.

There you have it, “ready in the middle of August”. Now let’s just hope that those partners get the game through their approval processes quickly.
