Ben Goes To Eurogamer Expo: LittleBigPlanet Vita

Ok, so. Day 3. It all started in much the same way as day 2, with a mad rush to the Vita stand followed by the anxious wait that comes with collecting a card for a game.
Luckily, I managed to snag one for LittleBigPlanet Vita, and was presented with a few levels to play. If Little Deviants is the game designed to show off every aspect of Sony’s new portable, then LBP was the game that used everything imaginable, but subtly. At the core of the game, it’s still LBP, just with an additional layer of controls on the top. Moving around objects with the front and back touch screens was simple and intuitive, and rotating the Vita to steer a dummy was entertaining every time. I also got to play a couple of mini games within LBP, with both games asking me to turn the system sideways, and perform a variety of tasks. Steering balls in to holes with a touch screen almost never got old.
