NTSC-U and NTSC-J PS1 Classics coming to SCEE

In a post on the EU PlayStation Blog this morning, EU Store manager Ross McGrath unveiled a brand new initiative for the EU Store that will see PS1 Classics from America and Japan winging their way over to Europe.

No titles under the new scheme have been announced as of yet, but expect to see games such as Xenogears and Chrono Cross released in Europe for the first time. It’s really excellent to see SCEE attempting to bring over titles that never saw the light of day in Europe, and I’m ludicrously excited to see where this goes. Let’s hope some stellar PS1 games make the jump over here!
