PlayStation Network Scheduled Maintenance On Thursday

Sony has announced a global PlayStation Network maintenance scheduled for Thursday, February 12th, 2015. Running between 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Pacific Time (12:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern Time) the maintenance aims to “deploy a series of back-end improvements to the network.” This will mean the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management will not be available during that time. Users that sign in to the PlayStation Network prior to maintenance will be allowed to play games online and access partner apps such as Netflix during the downtime.

Sony advises users to take note of the following:

PS4 users – The PS4 must be activated as your Primary System in order to play online titles and services. Check here for instructions on setting your PS4 as your Primary System.
PS3/PS Vita – Make sure to sign in to the network on the device(s) you plan to use during maintenance.
