Brazilian indie dev bringing Toren to PlayStation 4 in early 2015

A mysterious tower known as Toren challenges a young girl named Moonchild to go on a dangerous journey. Players will guide young Moonchild through beautiful landscapes and challenging puzzles. The trailer above shows this from an early build of a game now over three years in development.
Toren is being developed by Brazilian-based indie developer Swordtales for PS4 and PC/Mac. They’ve chosen to partner with Versus Evil to handle the publishing duties. Vitor Severo Leães, Swordtales Producer, talks about this partnership:
We’re very excited to be teaming up with Versus Evil. Toren is the biggest project of our lives and we have been independently developing it for three years. A big concern for us was finding a publishing partner for the game, one that understood how we operated and had the experience to help us launch the game successfully. We found the ideal partner in Versus Evil and are looking forward to working closely with them.
Steve Escalante, general manager of Versus Evil, shares a little bit about Versus Evil as a publisher:
Toren is a great example of the type of game we look to partner with. It’s a unique, exciting, and beautiful game with a story that truly captivates the player. The Swordtales team has done a great job in developing this magical world and we’re thrilled to be partnering with them. We look forward to sharing more information in the months to come and to finally releasing Toren to gamers across the globe.
Look for Toren to hit PlayStation 4 around the beginning of 2015.
What do I think: It looks strikingly like Shadow of the Colossus or ICO. I can see through the nearly 1 year old trailer above to recognize some fairly obvious relationships. What do you think?
