JAW, Just Add Water, first got their indie start on PSN with a little game called Gravity Crash for PS3. After porting Oddworld: Strangers Wrath to Vita, they realized this is where their first game truly belongs. Since that moment, they have brought on new talent to help work on an ultra version of the game that started it all.
Gravity Crash Ultra will bring with it all new updated visuals running at native resolution and at 60fps. J.A.W. says the particles have been turned up to eleven. Other visual upgrades include explosions, weapon effects, a refined graphics renderer, better lighting and more. There is a third player ship which now means three difficulty levels and the game’s soundtrack has been remixed.
Nearly five years worth of user generated levels from the PS3 version will be accessible to Gravity Crash Ultra players on Vita. All the mission editing and PSN sharing features will remain. Expect to see the game hit the PlayStation Store for Vita sometime this July.
