Hudson Entertainment Shutting Down. PSN Titles In Limbo

Guys I dunno if the Frog Bog Clan will be a reality now. With the upcoming closure of Hudson Entertainment at the end of February all currently unreleased titles have been cancelled, for now. This means that possibly Bomberman Battlefest, Bonk: Brink of Extinction, Elemental Monster Online Card Game, and PSN Turbografx titles will never see the light of day.

This all comes after Konami bought out the parent company of Hudson Entertainment, Hudson Software. With this Konami will be refocusing Hudson Soft on the casual market and Hudson Entertainment became un-needed. It looks like there might be an option for Konami to pick these titles up but we haven’t heard word on that yet. When we contacted Hudson’s PR firm we were told, “We don’t have any info to share.”

Hopefully we at least get Bomberman Battlefest, as it has been out on XBLA for a few months. There is no word on what the fate of currently published software on the PlayStation Network.
