Divekick: Addition Edition+ adds Saints Row’s Johnny Gat

Divekick is a ridiculous game, so it’s only fitting that it crosses over with another ridiculous game like Saints Row. A recurring character from that franchise, Johnny Gat, will be added as a playable character in the upcoming release of Divekick: Addition Edition+ for PS4, and Xbox One. Those that have Divekick: Addition Edition for PS3, and Vita will receive the character as free DLC at a later date.

The collaboration between Divekick developers Iron Galaxy, and Saints Row’s Volition occurred after it was discovered that Saints Rows IV referenced the fighting game. Johnny Gat’s move set is based off of the Saints of Rage mini-game, and will have his own story mode in Divekick. The character will be playable at Iron Galaxy’s booth at PAX East.

Divekick: Addition Edition+ will be out on PS4 sometime in the future. The Addition Edition balance update is now available to download on PS3, and Vita.
