PSNStores Weekly Roundup: September 23rd – 29th 2013

The big news this week was the 2013 Eurogamer Expo in London, England and of course PSNStores own Ben Jones was in attendance. Check out Part 1 of his Eurogamer feature to hear all about the sights and sounds (and possibly games) at the Earls Court Convention center and make sure to read his preview of Honeyslug’s recently announced game Super Exploding Zoo.
Eurogamer was also the venue where FuturLab showed off some alpha footage of the platforming sections in Velocity 2X, which are already looking fantastic. Finally Sony’s indie game champion Shahid Ahmid gave quite an informative PS4 indie presentation at the expo, which is definitely worth watching if you are still having doubts about Sony’s dedication to indies on the Vita and PS3/4.
While there were plenty of games to get excited for at Eurogamer you may be wondering what you should be spending your hard earned cash on now. Well we hope to make your decision a little easier with reviews for Real Boxing, the Vita’s first boxing game, the 2D horror game Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut, the second entry in the Dragon Fantasy JRPG series Book II, and the uniquely themed hunting game Carnivores Dinosaur Hunter HD.
If you readers are anything like me, you probably love free games. Well, how would you like a free copy of the excellent Pool Nation for PS3? If so check out our giveaway page and make sure you enter before 5PM PDT on Friday October 4th to have a chance at winning.
Until next week here is your PSNStores Weekly Roundup:
