rain coming to PSN October 1st

Today the team at Japan Studio and PlayStation C.A.M.P. have announced an official release date for their upcoming downloadable game rain. The journey between a boy and a girl caught in a world of endless rain will be available on October 1st for $14.99.

In addition to the release date we also received information on some extra items you’ll receive for pre-ordering the game. Included with the game for those who pre-order will be a dynamic and static theme, five hand drawn avatars and some sort of “musical montage”. The static theme will be available from the moment that you pre-order and everything else will be available on October 1st.

They’ve also put out a new developer diary talking about inspirations with the music in the game which you can check out above.
