PSNStores Weekly Roundup: August 12th – 18th 2013

This week I got the chance to dig into the El Diablo’s Domain DLC for Guacamelee!, which offers a new area to explore and seventeen fun (and difficult) challenges to take on. I’m having a blast with the content and I really hope there is still more Guac on the way. If Drink Box keeps releasing DLC for the game, I will keep playing them. Theatre of Magic, one of my personal favorites, was the table everyone was playing in the third week of our Pinball Arcade Tournament. Check out the current standings to see who is in the running to take home the $20 PSN cards and have fun playing the next table: Ripley’s Believe it or Not!
With the PS4 on the way there are a lot of really interesting PSN titles to look forward to and to get you excited we have some Q&A’s set up for a few of our favorites, with Octodad: Dadliest Catch being the first. We also got another group of reviews for your reading pleasure this week for the updated Amiga classic Superfrog HD, the bacterial fighting shooter Die!Die!Die!, and the hack and slash PSM title Mononoke Slashdown. This week also seen some new exciting game announcements with Awesomenauts coming to PS4 (yes, yes, yes), the Vita getting a version of Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition, and that Aabs Animals will have some competition (at least in the EU) as PlayStation Vita Pets is in the works from Spiral House. For those that have been feeling that the Vita is missing a pet-raising simulator then that could be the game for you. Check out all of this and more in this edition of the PSNStores Weekly Roundup:
