Free to Play Little Big Planet Hub Coming to PS3

Today at Sony’s Gamescom press conference, a free to play version of Media Molecule’s popular Little Big Planet franchise was announced to be coming to the Playstation 3 sometime later this year.

From what the short announcement trailer told us, it sounds like the entire create mode will be available to anyone who downloads the free title, with players being able to buy additional items to use in their levels. The costumes will transfer over as well, and you can share your custom made costumes with all of your friends.

There will also be challenges for users to compete in, where you can win prizes for your sackperson. Players can also make challenges for their friends to compete in. Little Big Planet Hub will bring all the creation features that its predecessors brought, all for free. Will you be creating levels for Little Big Hub? Let us know in the comments!
