PSNStores Weekly Roundup: April 15th – 21st 2013

The second release in this years PSN Spring Fever promotion was Dragon Fantasy Book I,  a retro styled RPG from Muteki Corportation. While it was a little late making its way up on the store I have been spending quite a bit of time with the title since Wednesday taking in all the nostalgia inducing classic RPG action that kids of the 80’s and early 90’s should feel very at home with. If you have ever spent time with the early Dragon Warrior(Quest) or Final Fantasy titles then this is one that you might want to take notice of.

From retro styled new games to modern looking old games Sega has announced that they are remaking the classic Disney Genesis title Castle of Illusion for release this Summer and for you fighting game fans Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R, the sixth revision of 2002’s Guilty Gear XX, will be available this Tuesday for your Vita. If fighting games aren’t your thing you can check out the 4 player co-op shooter God Mode which is looking to be a fun debut from Old School games. While this week was another no release update for PSM we did hear about some upcoming releases including the tile swapping puzzle game Tileogo and that Thomas Hopper has been working on a patch to bring new levels to fan favorite Super Brain Eat 3. If you are like me you have been probably wondering how well the PSM platform has been doing, well Chris has some insights after talking to some of the platforms developers.
