This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows Trailer Sure Is Gritty

When Activision announced that they had acquired the rights to develop games based on the now Nickelodeon owned TMNT IP, I think everybody expected them to announce a brawler for every platform imaginable starring the cartoony turtles in the new show. So, major brownie points to them for today announcing TMNT: Out Of The Shadows, a dark and gritty brawler by Red Fly Studios. That’s Activision, going against the norm.

If you’ll pardon my surprise at the game’s look, the debut trailer is above this text, ready for you to watch it. Red Fly has seemingly gone towards the Turtles’ roots, stylistically speaking. While a quick teaser isn’t enough to judge a game on, its what we have right now. Time will tell as to if the studio has done the one thing that a Turtles game should have, that being 4 player co-op. Come on guys, don’t leave me flying solo.
