Vita System Software 2.0 With PS Plus Available November 19

The PlayStation Blog announced today that the next system software update to Vita will be version 2.0. Not only that, PlayStation Plus will become available as well, and the first Instant Game Collection titles have been announced.

Beginning  November 19th, PS Plus subscribers will gain free access to the follow games:

  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  • Gravity Rush
  • Wipeout 2048
  • Jet Grind Radio
  • Mutant Blobs Attack
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

Vita will also gain an email app, wireless transfer capabilities between Vita and PC, and a better web browser. The addition of PS Plus on Vita will of course bring Cloud Storage, automatic software updates, and automatic trophy sync settings.

With Black Friday creeping in quickly, Vita bundles are looking real good right now. Add to that a 3-month ($18) or 1-year ($50) PS Plus subscription and you’ve got an instant library of free games. Are you as excited about this as we are or is your PS3 good enough?
