[Update: Maybe Not] Sound Shapes DLC Hitting Asian PSN This Week

Update: It looks like this DLC was leaked, and might not be coming this week. As you might expect the DLC information has been removed from the post. I did happen to screen capture it though. I have heard back from Sony and we should have some official news very soon.

It was announced today on the Hong Kong PlayStation Blog that Sound Shapes will be receiving some level creation DLC packs this week. There are 4 packs in total, 3 of which are sound packs. They are cross buy, so you get access to these packs on both PS Vita and PS3 when you buy them.

  • 8-Bit Sound Pack
  • Acoustic Sound Pack
  • Curved Terrain Pack [Free]
  • Drum Kit Sound Pack

While this isn’t more single player content, I am really happy to see the developers supporting the online builders with these new packs. I will reach out to the Sound Shapes team and see if we can get some info about release in other regions.
