Netflix on Android/iOS Can Be Used as a Controller for Netflix on PS3

It appears as though Netflix has not only updated their UI remotely thanks to an HTML5 framework, but they’ve included PS3 recognition and control tech to boot.
How does controlling Netflix running on your PS3 with your phone sound? Likely, you’ve also accidentally hit the triggers, analog, or other miscellaneous buttons on your DualShock 3 entirely on accident causing your show or movie to be needlessly fast forwarded. If this sounds familiar, the process to turn your phone into a Netflix remote control for PS3 is pretty easy.
With the Netflix app running on an Android or iOS device and on the PS3, and with both devices connected through the same network, the mobile app will ask if you’d like to play whatever chosen video through the Android/iPad/iPhone or through the PS3; referenced in the app by the system name of the console.
Now that all your ducks are in a row you’ll be able to play, pause, fast forward, and rewind the playback remotely. More importantly, you’ll be able to browse during the playback and still use your phone the way you’re used to. This functionality is nearly identical to that of the YouTube app for Android/iOS and PS3.
