PAYDAY: The Heist Sequel In The Works!

Earlier today it was announced that Starbreeze (most recently known for Syndicate) agreed to buy Overkill Software who, as many of you should already know, developed PAYDAY: The Heist.

As it turns out it looks like plans for a sequel to PAYDAY is already in the works by the same team. Just as well they’ll continue to work to improve the original game. It looks like Overkill Studios will be given the creative freedom that they need to ‘do what they’ve done so well’ which is make a really fun Heist game.

No further information has been given at this time but I think I speak for all of us here in saying that this news has me really excited.
