Journey Is The Fastest Selling PSN Game Of All Time

I’m incredibly happy right now. Why am I so happy? Well, I think PSN users worldwide have just proven that they don’t just care about the same old games, and are willing to try something new. Journey, thatgamecompany’s fantastic third PSN title, has been announced as the fastest selling game ever released on the PlayStation Store, taking the crown from Infamous: Festival of Blood, the previous holder of the record. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Jenova Chen, one of the co-founders of thatgamecompany, expressed his gratitude towards all the people who bought and played the game from the store, stating that they have ‘received more letters from fans in the two weeks since Journey’s launch than we did for Flower over the past three years!’

Its fantastic to see the game get so much positive press, and indeed the sales to back it up. Thatgamecompany released a new piece of art to say thank you, and its very sweet indeed. In addition to this, the release date for the game’s soundtrack has been announced as April 11, and it will be available on both iTunes and PSN, with a physical release also on the cards for the near future.
