Sanctum 2 Announced For PSN

Today Reverb Publishing announced a deal with Coffee Stain Studios to publish their upcoming game Sanctum 2 to PSN. Sanctum 2 is the sequel to the FPS/Tower Defence hybrid released in April of last year on PC.

Sanctum places you in the role of an elite soldier named Skye. She’s been sent out to protect her home town from oncoming hordes of aliens. Defending your home requires you to build and upgrade towers and defensive objects throughout key points of a labyrinth. When each wave begins you’ll have a handful of upgradeable weapons at your disposal to take on the hordes of aliens yourself. Sanctum 2 promises to build and improve upon the initial game though in what ways the announcement was not specific.
