New Journey Footage Keeps It Underground

I think this is one of those times where the Dilbert 2 #wow #woah hash-tags are appropriate. This new footage from Journey is pretty amazing.

As you can see, this is a brand new section of the game that was not in the demo from a few months back. Instead of being in the blistering sun of the desert you have found an underground sanctuary. The sand and world now have the cool tones of an ocean and that isn’t the only resemblance. Strands of cloth now flow upwards mocking the form of kelp and there are even what look to be jellyfish cloth creatures.

I might have forgotten about Journey for a moment, but it is now right back up in the must have game list. The wait until Spring 2012 is killing me.
