Publisher PAN Vision and developer Press Play have announced that their downloadable game Max and the Magic Marker: Gold Edition will be available on PSN this fall. The game puts you in the shoes of Max who must use a, yep you guessed it, Magic Marker to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. The PSN version will come with all of the trimmings present in the original release for iOS and WiiWare along with HD graphics in 1080p and Move support. The game has a distinctly Scribblenauts feel to it, but don’t take my word for it. There’s a PC demo of the game here and you can watch the trailer in Chris’s ESRB Watch post here. The game has been pretty well received already, but as soon as its out we’ll be sure to let you all know if the Gold Edition is really worth its weight. The press release further states the game will be available in both the US and EU territories. No price is listed as of yet, but if its priced similar to its WiiWare counterpart you can expect it to cost roughly $10 or whatever equivalent currency you may be using. Some additional screens from the latest press kit are below.
