Modern Combat: Domination gets a release date and price

Gameloft may not be the most original of publishers, with their usual titles being extremely well done, if a little uninspired in terms of innovation. Modern Combat: Domination doesn’t look to be bucking that trend, but it certainly looks like it’ll deliver on what it sets out to achieve. Namely, providing 16 player multiplayer action for the cost of a film ticket.
The game has finally been given a release date and price, and its sooner than expected, with the game launching on Wednesday 19th January for $8, which as pricing for digital titles go, is lower than I would have expected for a shooter, so hopefully the lower price will cause more people to bite the bullet (no pun intended), and add to the community. The game also supports PlayStation Move, for added accuracy (Though you can still take people down with a regular controller, if you so wish.) Eric enjoyed the game when he got the chance to play it last November, so hopefully not much has changed since then. While you wait for the game’s release, here’s the launch trailer to tide you over.
