Looks like the Japanese once again are getting all the cool stuff before the rest of the world. SNK Playmore announced today that NeoGeo titles will be available on the Japanese PlayStation Store, starting December 22nd.
These are a little different from the PSone Classics and PC Engine games already available. The major difference being that there are separate versions for PSP and PS3. Each version will have different features though, if you want to take it on the go, it will cost ¥700. The PSP version also supports ad-hoc multiplayer. While the PS3 versions will be ¥900, which is ¥300 more than PSone Classics titles, but unlike PSone Classics will have online multiplayer.
Here is the list of games coming out December 22nd:
- Fatal Fury
- Metal Slug
- The King of Fighters ’94
- Samurai Spirits
- Super Sidekicks
- Art of Fighting
- ASO II Last Guardian
- League Bowling
- Baseball Stars Professional
- Magician Lord
No word on if the US or EU will get these games, but seeing how we haven’t go Turbografx titles, I would assume the wait will be a long one.
