Trine 2 Gameplay Trailer

Frozenbyte and Atlus released a bunch of assets today for Trine 2. The game will feature online and offline co-op, a new story, and plenty of new gameplay features and improvements. The Wizard’s objects can be hurled, for example. Also, the Theif has a new time slow ability. The Warrior’s shield looks like it can deflect projectiles now. Neat-o.
It’s being developed for XBLA, PSN, and PC. The first Trine was developed for the PC and then ported to consoles. Hopefully that means any awkward controls or bugs will be ironed out this time around.
