Blimp: The Flying Adventures coming to minis this fall

I’m a fan of airships, and it really warms my heart to see a game like “Blimp: The Flying Adventures” announced for PlayStation minis. Originally an iPhone game (as so many minis once were), Blimp sticks the player in the shoes of Zed Pellin (get it?), a war veteran tasked with protecting a small planet under attack by a malevolent empire (as so many empires are).
You’re going to undertake several tasks in this game, such as “transporting passengers and goods, placing bombs, protecting valuable targets and, of course, decimating the enemy forces using the blimp’s airstrike attack.”, in 20 hand drawn environments, such as forests, mines, mountains, and the bald head of a man (note: one of these environments is not in the game, guess which one).
The minis version of Blimp will contain graphical enhancements, new modes and support for Grip Games’ Global Leaderboards (in a minis title? Inconceivable!) Blimp: The Flying Adventures is due out fall of this year. In the mean time, check out the screens for the game that we have on this page to whet your appetite.
