ESRB Watch: Age of Hammer Wars

iSquared Games Limited, publishers of Hyperballoid HD and the EU title Hammer Wars is coming out with a new game according to ESRB. It’s a minis title.

This is an action game in which players control a “flying machine rider” around rocky environments in a quest to aid an emperor. Players spin the device’s blade, axe, or hammer in order to kill worm/caterpillar enemies scattered throughout the levels. Some levels require players to engage in gladiator-style combat against other small devices. Enemies sometimes break apart or emit green or yellow blood spurts when hit.

I haven’t heard of or played Hammer Wars, but I did manage to find a YouTube preview of the game:

It looks… interesting? I like how “BREAK ThROUGh WALLS” is a feature. In all seriousness, the list of weapons seems vast and varied and the boss battles could be pretty cool.
