Coming April 15th: Final Fight: Double Impact

Capcom announced today that Final Fight: Double Impact will be coming out April 15th. You will be able to pick this game up for $9.99.

If you don’t know what Final Fight: Double Impact is I will break it down for ya. Double Impact should clue you in on something about the title. It is in fact 2 games rolled into one package. You have Final Fight which I am sure everyone remembers from back in the day.

Cody, Guy, and Haggar – three heroes fighting their way across crime-ridden Metro City in hopes of saving Haggar’s daughter from the evil clutches of Mad Gear.

And then you have Magic Sword. I had never heard of that game until Double Impact was announced. Here is how Capcom describes the title:

In Magic Sword, users will take on the role of the “The Brave One,” a fierce warrior who bears the daunting responsibility of cleansing evil forces from an ancient tower. As a consequence of his actions, he will inevitably meet the source of this scourge upon humanity – the dark lord Drokmar. But fear not as the hero is accompanied by eight allies who will lend their assistance through out the game. All of them bring specific skills and talents to contribute to the fight.

The really cool thing, as you can tell from the screens, is that you play from a perspective that is looking into an arcade cabinet. So get ready to brawl this April, quarters not needed!
